Fundraising agency Think Consulting is taking an equity stake in donor research agency Factary, formalising a long-standing relationship between the two consultancies.
Derek Humphreys, director of Think, said: "We've been working with Factary for several years in various ways. There is a lot of synergy between what we do and what it does."
Factary works in France, Spain and Scandinavia, carrying out research on high-level donors for voluntary sector clients.
Tony Elischer, managing director of Think, said: "There is an obvious fit between the strategic work we do and the donor research pioneered by Factary. Crucially, there is a 'values fit' between us."
Chris Carnie, managing director of Factary, said: "With our offices in Spain and the UK, we take a genuinely international perspective. This fits neatly with the role Think plays with European national charities and international NGOs."
