Fundraising: UNHCR receives money raised by Polar Race winners

UNHCR, the UN relief agency, received £4,900 from fundraising by Jake Morland and James Turner, winners of the Polar Race. Six teams raced on foot or skis 350 miles to the magnetic North Pole. The duo raised the money in part from the sale of a sock that a polar bear had chewed.
