The inaugural event saw 2,500 motorcyclists raise £10,000 for the maintenance of the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.

Care charity Norwood is hoping to raise £100,000 in its annual Rosh Hashanah appeal through a combined postal, advertising and email campaign. The Jewish new year appeal aims to raise awareness of neglected Jewish children.
