Gambling Commission offers new guidance for good-cause lotteries

Documents gather together law and best practice

The Gambling Commission has published two revised sets of guidance for people running lotteries to raise money for good causes.

The publications, Running a Lottery and Promoting Society and Local Authority Lotteries, draw together law and guidance from the regulator on running prize draws of all sizes.

A spokeswoman for the Gambling Commission said the guides were an attempt to make running lotteries easier to understand and clarify existing guidance.
