Girish Menon to become chief executive of ActionAid

Menon will become chief executive of ActionAid in September. He is director of international programmes and deputy chief executive at WaterAid and has significant experience of international development, including a stint working for ActionAid India.

The National Trust for Scotland has appointed Simon Skinner as chief executive. He was previously chief executive of Aegon Ireland, a financial services company.

Nigel Harris has been appointed chief executive of Tearfund. He is chief executive of the international charity Farm Africa and will move to the Christian development organisation later this year.

Graham Beech has been appointed chief executive of Action on Addiction. He will join in September from the crime reduction charity Nacro, where he is strategic development director and acting chief executive.

Build Africa has appointed Linda Edwards as chief executive. She joins from Marie Stopes International, where she was regional director for Pacific Asia.

The Spinal Injuries Association has appointed Sue Browning as chief executive. The ex-deputy chief executive of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy will join the charity in August.

Alzheimer's Research UK has appointed Hilary Evans as chief executive. She was formally the charity's director of external affairs.

Juliette Randall has been appointed chief executive of the children's continence charity Eric. She was previously chief executive of the Arnos Vale Cemetery Trust in Bristol.

The Thomas Pocklington Trust, which provides support for people with sight loss, has appointed Keith Valentine as deputy chief executive. He was previously the charity's director of services.

Adrienne Skelton has joined Arthritis Research UK as strategic development director. She comes from Macmillan Cancer Support.

Oxfam GB has appointed Dave Hillyard as philanthropy and partnerships director. He moves from WaterAid, where he was head of major partnerships.

Fiona Bousfield has been appointed communications manager of the landmine charity Find A Better Way. She moves from Teach First, where she was attraction manager.

Harpinder Collacott has been promoted to executive director at Development Initiatives. She was previously its director of engagement and impact.
