The board will actively endorse the website and provide feedback on its development. It will also encourage other major donors to give intelligently.
Alec Reed, founder of TheBigGive, said: “I am delighted to announce the 22 exceptional individuals on our Board of Philanthropists, including six members of the House of Lords, two knights of the realm and several dotcom experts. Their endorsement will attract many more high-wealth individuals interested in intelligent effective giving.”
He added: “The depth of philanthropy, business and technology expertise on the board gives us an unrivalled perspective as we develop heBigGive into an essential tool for high-level philanthropy.”
