The guide, which goes live on the organisation's website on 30 June, will contain resources for first-time charity buyers, including sample documents and mortgage repayment calculators. It will accompany an existing guide on renting property.
"Our advice line has had more and more calls for help from charities looking to buy properties," said Victoria Howse, property advice manager at the foundation, a charity linked to the Ethical Property Company. "We decided we needed a website similar to our current one.
"We'll be looking at why to buy, how to find a suitable property, putting together a briefing on what you want, and bidding and negotiating.
"We would advise buyers to get professional help. This site is no substitute for that, but we're hoping it will help inform charities."
The foundation is also holding property buying workshops in partnership with social banker Triodos Bank, law firm Bates Wells & Braithwate and property company Ashwell Rogers, the first of which will take place on 18 June in London.
