Guide for trustees demystifies the Charities Act

The Charity Commission and the Cabinet Office have published a guide to help trustees understand the Charities Act.

Charities Act 2006 – what trustees need to know summarises the key provisions of the Act and points the reader in the direction of other sources providing further guidance.

An interactive version of the guide – which is particularly aimed at the trustees of smaller charities – is available on the Office of the Third Sector website.

To requested a hard copy, call 0845 015 0010 and quote URN 07/Z2 and the title.
