Wolters joins the alliance, which helps charities improve their fundraising capabilities, from the European Council for Foreign Relations, where he was director and chief operating officer for three years. He replaces interim chief executive Lyndall Stein, who was in the role for eight months. "I have worked in the not-for-profit sector all my career, so the mission of the Resource Alliance is very close to my heart," said Wolters.
"I hope to be able to put my experience in organisational development into practice and bring the Resource Alliance even bigger successes." The Resource Alliance organises the annual International Fundraising Congress, which was held in the Netherlands last week.
