Heart-felt plea

Leading heart charity, the British Heart Foundation, has enlisted the help of actress Lesley Joseph to front a poster campaign for British Heart Foundation shops. Set to run in May, the month-long "Blue Bag

campaign aims to encourage people to donate unwanted clothes to their local foundation shop. Joseph, who played Dorian in the TV series Birds of a Feather, will appear on giant posters in window displays in more than 450 shop fronts. The posters will aim to attract shoppers off the high street to pick up a blue bag and fill it with their unwanted, good-quality clothing and bric-a-brac and return it to the shop. Money raised from the donations will help the foundation in its fight against heart disease - the UK's biggest killer.
