The former England rugby union World Cup winners Will Greenwood, Lawrence Dallaglio and Jason Leonard have agreed to take part in a fundraising match for the armed forces charity Help for Heroes.

The players will line up alongside Welsh rugby legend Ieuan Evans and members of the armed forces at Twickenham stadium in London on 3 December for the Heroes Rugby Challenge.

The charity match will raise money for Help for Heroes, which assists wounded servicemen and women.

The English and Welsh players will represent a northern hemisphere XV against a southern hemisphere side that will include Australian and All Blacks World Cup winners Michael Lynagh and Sean Fitzpatrick.

The best players from the armed forces will also participate.
