Institute of Fundraising: New features add to website interactivity

Over the next few weeks, the Institute of Fundraising will be making a number of additions to the website at New developments include the launch of an online professional development centre for fundraisers and a news section on the site.

The news section will enable members and the general public to read about the latest changes and developments in best practice standards, policy issues and professional development issues.

The news pages give you the opportunity to access up-to-the-minute information on what is going on at the Institute and our various work streams.

The introduction of an online professional development centre is part of Careerbank - the Institute's professional development initiative. This centre will provide a forum for fundraisers to 'meet' online and discuss the fundraising profession and their own career progression. The forthcoming facility will publish details of the Fundraising Career Pathway and Personal Development Record online.

A dedicated National Convention website will be launched on 14 March 2004. For further information, visit the web site at
