Institute of Training: Awards celebrate fundraising excellence

This year's Awards, established to recognise excellence in fundraising, are taking place on 13 July at the Hilton London Metropole. For the past 13 years, the Awards and Dinner, run in partnership by the Institute and Professional Fund-raising magazine, have encouraged best practice in fundraising.

The annual Awards ceremony is part of our ongoing commitment to raise standards in the sector, to promote good practice and to see all fundraisers (volunteers and professionals) striving to make the most of their skills and knowledge.

It is an opportunity for charities, theatres, schools and universities, arts organisations, hospitals and fundraisers to be acknowledged for their creativity and success in raising funds.

There is no charge for charities that wish to nominate an organisation or an individual for an award. Agencies, consultants and others will be charged £95 plus VAT per entry.

Entries will be judged by leading sector experts and the winners will be announced at the dinner, which is being held on the final night of the Institute's three-day National Convention. For a table of 10 at the three-course gala dinner, organisational members can get a reduced rate of £500 plus VAT (£1,000 plus VAT for non-members).

To view the categories, submit a nomination or book a table for the gala dinner, go to www.nationalconvention.org.uk/awards.
