The Institute of Fundraising will launch its new website this afternoon, as part of a wider overhaul of its digital and social media communications.
The new site will allow both members and non-members to register their details so they can log in to a dedicated area displaying content tailored to their specialisms and interests.
The site will feature news, advice and updates on fundraising in the UK and a searchable library section and research portal. There will also be a members-only area that will have special features and content.
The launch of the site follows consultation by the institute of its members, whose average profile it summarises in a statement as the "25 to 32-year-old, tech-savvy professional".
Peter Lewis, chief executive of the IoF, said: "The site is packed with dynamic new features and content on major industry issues that our members have requested. We will now be better able to help even more fundraisers to raise money for good causes. We plan to use the site to promote all the good that fundraising does within the UK."
A statement from the IoF said that future plans for the website included a blog section and a version that people can read easily on their mobile phone.
