IoF's interactive tax rules guide

A website and CD-Rom to help charities promote tax-effective giving were launched at the convention yesterday.

The interactive resources, developed by the Institute of Fundraising, contain more than 50 downloads and templates, including a Gift Aid calculator, codes of practice and details of how next April's change to the basic rate of income tax will affect Gift Aid and payroll giving. The website can be found at

"The website and CD give charities the practical resources they need to promote tax-effective giving," said Lee Grant, manager of the institute's Tax-Effective Giving project.

The initiative is part of a wider campaign to promote tax-effective giving.
