Keith Hickey to step down from Charity Finance Directors' Group

After three years as chief executive, he leaves for a role at RNIB

Keith Hickey, chief executive of the Charity Finance Directors' Group, is to leave the organisation at the end of October.

Hickey, who has been at the CFDG since 2006, will become director of resources at the RNIB.

Trustees are discussing how the process of recruiting a replacement will work.

"We are sorry to lose Keith," said Melvin Coleman, deputy chair of the CFDG and finance director of Amnesty International UK. "Under his leadership, the CFDG has been steered into its current strong position where it is ready to take on the challenges of the future."
