Last chance to enter the Business Charity Awards

The deadline for entries to Third Sector's eighth edition of these awards is the end of tomorrow

Organisations have until the end of tomorrow to enter Third Sector’s Business Charity Awards, which recognise the outstanding contribution made by UK businesses to charities and voluntary organisations.

The awards, which are in their eighth year, are made up of 23 categories, including Corporate Social Responsibility Team of the Year, Outstanding Employee, Project of the Year and Marketing Initiative of the Year.

There are also 13 charity partnership awards covering different parts of the business sector, including an award for the best partnership between a charity and a company in the consumer goods/food and beverage sector.

The original deadline for entries passed on 9 February, but organisations can still enter until midnight on Thursday, subject to a late fee of £65 plus VAT.

Yorkshire Building Society won the Business of the Year at the 2016 awards and Pauline Giroux, the company’s corporate responsibility manager, will co-chair the judging panel for this year’s event.

The winners will be announced at a gala dinner at the Hilton London Bankside on 25 May.
