Leadership web resource goes live

Three business schools from the north of England have launched a new web resource for organisations that want to improve the quality of their leadership. The site includes a dedicated voluntary and community sector section.

The site, run by the Northern Leadership Academy consortium of Lancaster, Leeds and Liverpool business schools, will include information and news, as well as discussion forums, networking opportunities and online courses.

A spokesman said it was about embracing the interactive opportunities of the internet. “We are hoping the sector gets involved and encourages people to submit their own think pieces, case studies and best practice,” he said.

The site will also contain details of the Northern Leadership Academy’s seminars and leadership events, already held across the north, as well as paid-for services such as personal development programmes and a large database of articles on leadership.
