Liam Cranley to head Impact Coalition

Acevo officer will draw up 'transparency manifesto' for charity chief executives to sign

Acevo has appointed Liam Cranley as head of the Impact Coalition.

Cranley, who is an income generation officer in the chief executives body's income generation team, will be responsible for drawing up a ‘transparency manifesto' and encouraging charity heads to sign up to it.

He will also integrate the coalition's work, which involves encouraging charities to be more accountable, across Acevo.

The organisation took over the running of the coalition, which had been based at the Institute of Fundraising since 2007, in April.

An Acevo spokeswoman said the Impact Coalition, whose members include more than 280 charities and trade bodies, would run a national awareness-raising campaign to encourage a "more upfront relationship between the sector and the public".

Cranley will start his new role in late September.
