Lily Carter joins the Children's Society

Plus Catherine Murray-Howard, Jayne Manley, Dr Julian Thompson, Andy Wasley and Nick Perks

- Lily Carter is the new director of campaigns and media at the Children's Society. She was previously head of communications at Rethink Mental Illness.

Jayne Manley - The social care charity CIC Group has appointed Catherine Murray-Howard as director of business development and partnerships. She joins from mental health charity Making Space, where she was director of development.

- Jayne Manley has been promoted to chief executive at the Earth Trust. She was previously director of development and has been acting chief executive since October.

- Dr Julian Thompson has left Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust to become executive director at London's Air Ambulance.

- Andy Wasley has joined the gay equality charity Stonewall as media manager. He joins from the online magazine So So Gay: he was editor-in-chief.

Nick Perks- Nick Perks will become trust secretary at the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust in August. He is leaving the Environmental Funders Network, where he is coordinator, and will replace Stephen Pittam, who retires after 26 years at the trust.
