Four hundred people took part in a swimming event to raise money for the WWF

Synchronised swimmer Natasha Lau makes a splash in the Stoke Newington West Reservoir in north London, while taking part in the wildlife charity WWF's Blue Mile fundraising event.

More than 200 people were sponsored to swim, kayak or paddle-board for a mile in the reservoir earlier this month.

A further 200 people took part in sponsored water-based challenges in other parts of thte country to raise money for the charity's drive to preserve the marine and freshwater environments.
