Marching for Alzheimer's

Supporters of the Alzheimer's Society descended on Parliament on last week's Budget day to protest at the policy of means-testing people with dementia for essential help with washing, eating and using the toilet. Around 500 protesters, including actresses Nicola Duffett of soap Family Affairs and Lynda Bellingham, gathered at College Green, holding forget-me-nots to highlight the particular vulnerability of those who cannot remember.
