Mike Silvey joins WWV as director

- Mike Silvey has joined the volunteering charity WWV as director. He was previously country director for Indonesia at the international development charity VSO.

- The children's communication charity I Can has appointed Andrew Ball as director of fundraising. He was previously 2012 project director for the Stroke Association.

Caroline Corr - Caroline Corr (right) is the new head of individual giving at the equine welfare charity the Brooke. She was head of public fundraising at the mental health charity Mind.

- The grant-maker the Veolia Environmental Trust has appointed Paul Taylor as executive director. He was managing director of the East London Waste Authority.

- The older people's charity Abbeyfield has appointed Malcolm Tyndall as director of fundraising, marketing and communications. He was director of income generation and communications at Elizabeth Finn Care.

- Chris JamesChris James (right), chief executive of the Haemophilia Society, has been appointed director of external affairs at the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
