Lord Nigel Crisp, former chief executive of the NHS, is the new chairman of blindness charity Sightsavers International. Crisp was also permanent secretary at the Department of Health between 2000 and 2006. He will take up his new role in November.
Yessica Herrera Fuentes has joined the board of the Colchester-based Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre. Fuentes works as a consultant for Chelmsford-based training and development company Radius 360. She is the first new trustee to be appointed by the charity in three years.
