Movers: Gillen Knight, head of marketing and membership, NCVO

Gillen Knight is the new head of marketing and membership at the NCVO.

Knight is stepping up from his position as marketing, events and member communications manager at the umbrella body after Martin Nee's move to the Media Trust as marketing director.

He will lead the NCVO's marketing strategy to recruit new members and will also be responsible for raising awareness of the organisation's brand.

"My aim will be to make the NCVO recognised as the most representative and effective umbrella body in terms of meeting organisations' needs and effecting the changes that are necessary for the good of the people who depend on their services," he said.
