Movers: Mark Molden, chief operating officer, Care for the Family

Mark Molden has been appointed chief operating officer at Care for the Family.

Molden takes up his new post after joining from Bristol City Council, where he led education services for children and young people as strategy leader, innovation and access, for two years. He was previously business manager at Barnardo's for three years.

Molden said: "I know that family life can sometimes be a challenge. It is great to be part of a charity that is actively seeking to support families - to stand with them and say 'you are not alone'. Those are vital words that many families need to hear and I hope that many more families will hear them in the future."
