New 'essential' guide to charity finance

The Charity Finance Directors' Group is launching a comprehensive guide to the role of the charity finance director.

The publication of The Role of the Charity Finance Director marks the group's 20th anniversary and is intended to provide finance directors with a definitive guide to every aspect of the job.

"This book explores the role of the charity finance director through the eyes of those in the know," said Keith Hickey, chief executive of the CFDG and editor of the book.

"Each chapter is written by a charity finance director with proven expertise in the area in which they are writing. This book will become an essential reference tool for anyone working in charity finance."

The book will be launched at the CFDG's 20th anniversary celebrations, which take place on 27 February in the crypt at St Paul's Cathedral. It can be ordered at and will cost £45.
