New website helps bond partnerships

A website has been launched to promote partnerships between the voluntary and public sectors.

The site,, is a collaboration between the Centre for Management and Policy Studies in the Cabinet Office and NCVO.

It includes news, features, and best practice guidance as well as a discussion forum for people working in voluntary/public sector partnerships.

Site visitors can register as members which entitles them to use the message boards and subscribe to a newsletter.

Ewart Wooldridge, director of the CMPS Civil Service College and chairman of the website steering group said: "Our aim is to produce a website that is the natural reference point for anyone who wants help in creating partnerships such as local strategic partnerships, learning partnerships and regeneration partnerships."

During October, partnership working experts will be answering questions via the message boards. The site is managed by NCVO.
