New website will rate public sector partnerships

Oneplace launches this week

A new website assessing how well public bodies work in partnership with third sector and other organisations will be launched tomorrow.

Six public sector bodies, including the Audit Commission, have come together to launch the Oneplace site, which will publish evaluations of the work of councils, primary care trusts, police forces and other local statutory service providers.

The site will contain the first results of a new inspection regime, the Comprehensive Area Assessment, which replaced the Comprehensive Performance Assessment in April and is more focused on partnership working.

Oneplace will contain accounts of what it is like to live in a particular place and assessments of how well public bodies are working with organisations in the private and third sectors.
