NEWS IN BRIEF: Wessex Welfare Bureau convicted for lying

A trustee of the Wessex Welfare Bureau has been convicted for lying to the Charity Commission about his unspent criminal record. The case of Richard Culverhouse has now been adjourned until 22 August for sentencing. Acting as a trustee with an unspent conviction for dishonesty or theft is illegal, as is lying to the Commission.
