Nick Dearden joins the World Development Movement

Plus Tobin Aldrich, Jeanne Humber, Ian Wilson, David Warner and Mairi Martin

- The anti-poverty charity the World Development Movement has appointed Nick Dearden as its director. He had a similar role at the Jubilee Debt Campaign.

- Tobin Aldrich will join the international development charity Sightsavers as director of global fundraising in November. He is currently executive director of communications and fundraising at the WWF-UK.

-Jeanne Humber Jeanne Humber (right) has been promoted from volunteer coordinator to director of volunteering and training at the mental health charity Restore.

- Ian Wilson, head of campaigns at Cancer Research UK, has joined Alzheimer's Research UK as director of fundraising.

- London Funders, the membership organisation of funders and investors in the capital's voluntary and community sector, has named David Warner as director. He was chief executive of the National Animal Welfare Trust.

Mairi Martin- The social care charity Cornerstone has appointed Mairi Martin (right) as HR director. She was executive director for resources at the social landlord Riverside.
