£944k: The amount raised in voluntary income, mainly from legacies and donations. The fundraising ratio for the charity's fundraising events was 10p in the pound, compared with 5p in the pound the previous year

19k: The number of members of the charity, 4,400 more than the previous year. They borrowed 470,000 books

5%: The percentage of pensionable salary the charity contributes to the pension schemes of its employees.
