A group of children from the London Sivan Kovil Hindu temple demonstrated this week how much they love Christmas by unveiling a life-sized Hindu snowman and snow-woman at Westminster Abbey.

All the children in the group celebrate Christmas, as well as Hindu festivals such as Diwali and other British festivals such as Bonfire Night.

The children decorated the snow-people in Indian clothing to illustrate how religious festivals can be enjoyed by people of all faiths. They were met by choristers from Westminster Abbey, who hosted a tour for their visitors including a visit to the Christmas crib.

The project was funded with a grant from the Inter Faith Youth Trust.
