OTS launches social enterprise campaign

The Office of the Third Sector's troupe of social enterprise ambassadors yesterday launched a campaign to demonstrate the added value that social businesses can bring to society.

The awareness drive, called More for Your Money, will lobby consumers, commissioners and investors on the benefits of enterprises that have social and environmental goals.

“More for your Money will show how social enterprises deliver more value, whether you’re a consumer buying fairly traded goods, a commissioner purchasing recycling services for your local area or an investor looking for a solid investment with an environmental or social impact,” said Bergin O’Malley, ambassadors campaign manager for the Social Enterprise Coalition.

The campaign was launched at the social investment conference Good Deals.
