Charities and non-profits need to make the most of their resources. They want to channel their efforts into raising all-important funds and delivering the social impact, which is their raison d’être.

According to Salesforce’s Total Economic Impact for non-profits, conducted by Forrester Consulting, non-profits can enjoy a 307% return on investment over three years by using the right technologies. They can grow their major gift programmes by up to 22% while small gift-giving grows in both speed and scale because of the automation of manual processes and improved data collection.

Automation can increase productivity by up to 50% and reallocate more than 50,000 hours for mission delivery. Salesforce technologies can offer self-service solutions to stakeholders, which improves programme efficiency and retention.

There are a number of unquantifiable benefits too from the research such as the positive impact on staff and volunteers, increasing satisfaction and retention.
