Rangers FC seeks charity partners

Glasgow Rangers Football Club's charitable foundation is seeking applications from charities interested in being official causes of the club next season.

Each year, the foundation selects three charities to receive both grants from funds raised by the club's fans and help in kind.

Connal Cochrane, the foundation's coordinator, said: "We raise funds with a variety of events, from our charity ball to our annual Blue Nose Day prize draw."

The foundation was established in 2004 and has awarded more than £255,000 to 12 charities. Applicants should have at least one employee based in Scotland. The deadline is 10 April. Contact 0141 580 8775 or rangerscharity@rangers.co.uk with applications.
