Real Fundraising doubles staff numbers in six months

Company rose from the ashes of defunct agency Dialogue Direct

Real Fundraising, the face-to-face fundraising agency set up by managers from the defunct agency Dialogue Direct, has doubled the number of fundraisers it employs since it was set up six months ago.

The agency was formed by eight former managers at Dialogue Direct after the latter company went into voluntary liquidation in October.

Real Fundraising had 37 fundraisers and four charity clients when it launched in November. It now has more than 70 fundraisers and has raised funds for 16 charities, including the WRVS, the British Red Cross and World Vision.

James Davis, managing director of the firm, said: "At first, we aimed to recruit enough donors in November and December to ensure they would collectively give £450,000 to charities in the following 12 months. We have surpassed all our projections so far."
