Rebranded Maca in wellbeing push

The Mental After Care Association (Maca) has changed its name to Together.

The new name, which also includes the strapline 'Working for Wellbeing', was launched on Tuesday at its conference Happiness: a wellbeing approach to transforming mental health services in London.

The rebrand signals a move by the country's oldest community charity towards working with more service users at a grass-roots level.

Together intends to inform future policies with a "new holistic way of thinking" that will include working with people other than those with severe and enduring mental illness.
