Ben Summerskill joins Stonewall as chief executive, moving from The Observer where he was assistant editor.

Derek Bodell, chief executive of the National Aids Trust, takes on additional duties as joint vice-chairman of the Government's independent advisory group on sexual heath and HIV. Maggie Williams becomes director of RNID Scotland. Ian Bruce steps down from the post of director-general at RNIB after 20 years. Jon Thorne is appointed head of financial regulation at the Charity Commission.
