A group raising cash for Save the Children took a leaf out of ET's book last week and cycled in mid-air on the London Eye.

The team was taking part in a 24-hour cycling event, in which Lloyds Banking Group staff at 38 locations round the world - including the UK, Madrid, Frankfurt, Dubai, Berlin, Hong Kong, the Netherlands and Uruguay - attempted to raise £100,000 by covering 18,297 miles on static bikes.

The event finished in a nearby marquee after the wheel closed.
