Ruth Sutherland joins Relate as chief executive

Plus Matthew Thomson, Jeremy Payne, Marco Martinez and Leanne Thorndyke

- Ruth Sutherland has been appointed chief executive of the relationship support charity Relate. She will join in the summer from Scope, where she is executive director of services.

Matthew Thomson- The social enterprise and restaurant Fifteen Cornwall and its charity the Cornwall Foundation of Promise have made Matthew Thomson their chief executive. He was previously chief executive of the London Community Resource Network.

- The hospice charity Shooting Star Chase has appointed Jeremy Payne as director of fundraising and marketing. Payne, a former trustee of the Institute of Fundraising and former chief executive of Endometriosis UK, previously worked as a consultant for the charity.

Leanne Thorndyke- The eating disorder charity Beat has appointed Marco Martinez as commercial director and Leanne Thorndyke as head of communications. Martinez was previously a consultant and Thorndyke was senior marketing and communications officer at the St Elizabeth Hospice in Ipswich.
