Scheme aims to share knowledge

Chief executives body Acevo has launched a programme to encourage voluntary sector leaders in different countries to exchange best practice ideas.

The first event of the programme is a European Third Sector Summer School for chief executives. This will take place in Urbino in central Italy from 11-14 July. It is the first course of its kind and will offer advanced comparative learning for 50 third sector leaders. The second event is an international conference, entitled 'Learning From Each Other' and is organised in collaboration with overseas aid umbrella group Bond. It will take place on 14 October in London.

There are 10 places left on the Italian course and it is open to non-Acevo members. To find out more, go to: http://www.3rdsectorschool.org/index3.html.
