More than 1,800 fundraisers from 40 countries are expected to take part in the second online International Fundraising eConference this week.
The event, which took place for the first time last year, is a series of live video presentations by speakers, during which viewers can ask questions of the speakers on a live chat service.
There will be three plenary sessions and 10 other presentations, which will be repeated throughout the conference.
Twenty-one half-hour periods are designated as networking sessions, in which delegates are expected to have online conversations. They will also be able to take a 'walk' through the conference's computer-generated replica of an exhibition hall.
The bulk of the presentations will be about online fundraising and the use of mobile technology to raise funds.
Jason Potts, director of Think Consulting Solutions, will give a presentation on the ways in which smaller charities should raise funds online.
