Shortlists for Business Charity Awards announced

The 20 categories recognise the outstanding support given to charities by UK businesses

Aldi, Iceland, Vision Express and Peppa Pig are among the brands that are in the running to win a Business Charity Award.

The awards, which are run by Third Sector, recognise the outstanding support made by UK businesses to charities and voluntary organisations.

There are 20 categories, and other companies on the shortlist include Dulux UK, L’Oreal Paris and P&O Cruises.

Investec won Business of the Year in 2017. Abigail Brady, corporate sustainability programme coordinator at the company, is co-chairing the judging panel this year.

The winners will be announced at a black-tie dinner at the Marriott Grosvenor Square in London on 23 May.
