Sofa, not so good: protesters tackle government over fuel poverty

Friends of the Earth and Help the Aged staged a protest outside the Royal Courts of Justice in London yesterday to highlight the plight of vulnerable people struggling to heat their homes this winter.

The two charities also began a judicial review at the High Court to challenge the Government's record on fuel poverty.

They are claiming the Government has failed in its legal obligation to lift vulnerable people out of fuel poverty and esitmate five million households will struggle to heat and power their homes this winter.
