Farm Africa featured the self-regulatory scheme's emblem in a newspaper campaign for its Farm Friends range of virtual livestock Christmas gifts.
The charity said it had not yet received any comments or questions from donors about the scheme. "We think this is a vital initiative for the sector," said a Farm Africa spokeswoman.
The FSB said last week that its work would monitor trends in public complaints about fundraising.
"We anticipate complaints outside our remit, such as 'we hate face-to-face' or 'we hate junk mail'," said director Jon Scourse. "We will log them and report to the Institute of Fundraising in our annual report."
