Mencap has organised a large-scale outdoor photography exhibition of the entries and the stories behind them on the banks of the river Thames with the intention of challenging people's preconceptions about learning disabilities.

This photograph, entitled 'This is me', will be on display outside City Hall next to London's Tower Bridge until 8 January, when it will begin a tour of the UK. It will be at Chamberlain Square in Birmingham from 11 January until 27 February, then at Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester, from 2 March until 10 April.
