Three fundraisers are driving a black cab from London to Sydney in a bid to raise £20,000 for the British Red Cross.

Paul Archer, Leigh Purnell and Johno Ellison set off on 17 February this year and hope to reach the Australian city next month.

The taxi – pictured here in Georgia – has reached China by a circuitous route covering more than 23,000 miles.

The team, which calls itself It's On The Meter, is planning to cover 9,000 more miles before it reaches its final destination.
