James Watson-O Neill, CEO, SignHealth

James joined SignHealth as Chief Executive in 2016 and has worked in the charity sector since 2001, including a variety of roles at Scope and the NSPCC. In 2018 James led the sale of SignHealth’s subsidiary company, InterpreterNow – a tech company that enables Deaf people who use British Sign Language and hearing people to communicate. It’s sale to Sign Language Interactions has led to significant growth in the use of this Video Relay tech, particularly through the emergency COVID-19 response service BSL Health Access which was set up in partnership by SLI and SignHealth within a week of identifying the need for it.
