Julia Clark, Director of Engagement, Encephalitis Society

Julia is Director of Engagement at the Encephalitis Society. Julia's first role in the Third Sector was back in 1998 as a hospice Community Fundraiser. Since then, she's worked for SSAFA, the Armed Forces Charity in Regional and Head of Fundraising roles and as Director of Fundraising at Yorkshire Cancer Research. Julia joined the Encephalitis Society in 2016 with a focus on improving the way communications and fundraising work together to drive income and engagement and she’s passionate about using technology to support this.

Julia was voted one of the UK's 25 most influential fundraisers in 2018 and over the last three years, has focussed the Encephalitis Society's efforts on fundraising innovation and global multi disciplinary campaigns as well as pioneering the use of digital technology to engage the charity’s members and beneficiaries.
